Asher is cur­rently serv­ing his sec­ond term as Com­mis­sioner of ANC 2A03. Asher is employed as Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Direc­tor for Coun­cil Mem­ber Mary Cheh (Ward III). Asher is both a cat and dog per­son, liv­ing with his cat, Cas­sius and meet­ing dogs at the 26th Street dog park for which he is a strong proponent.

Lev Trubkovich,

Lev is a grad­u­at­ing GWU stu­dent and a para­le­gal assis­tant. Inter­ests include pol­i­tics, debate and the clas­sics. “I plan on stay­ing in Foggy Bot­tom and advo­cat­ing for the peo­ple… con­tribut­ing to the long his­tory of an incred­i­ble neighborhood.”

Lucia Pol­lock,

A 43 year res­i­dent of Foggy Bot­tom. Retired fed­eral gov­ern­ment employee in the area of human resources. Half of her career was at the National Gallery of Art. Beside art and the­atre, Lucia’s inter­ests include his­toric preser­va­tion, archi­tec­ture and smart growth.

A new West End res­i­dent, recently retired as Alexan­dria Com­mis­sioner of the Arts, appointed by the City Coun­cil as well as chair­ing the grants com­mit­tee for all Alexan­dria the­ater groups. He is cur­rently active on two stand­ing com­mit­tees at the Colum­bia Residences.

David is a retired Social Worker who is cur­rently an FBA Exec­u­tive Board mem­ber. Before join­ing the FBA Board of Direc­tors, David vol­un­teered his tal­ents to map out the vast land hold­ings of GWU in our Foggy Bot­tom neigh­bor­hood. David enjoys cycling and walk­ing to keep a watch­ful eye for all of us.

John cur­rently serves as the lead pro­gram devel­oper and grant writer for the Arlington-Alexandria Coali­tion for the Home­less. Before mov­ing into our neigh­bor­hood, John served abroad for more than 20 years in com­mu­nity devel­op­ment. John is a for­mer Ful­bright Scholar.

Bob Vogt,

Bob is Mr. Foggy Bot­tom, always there to lend a hand to any neigh­bor in need of his many tal­ents. Bob served for many years in the recent and more dis­tant past on the FBA Board, includ­ing a stint as Trea­surer. Cur­rently, Bob serves as Trea­surer of our neigh­bor­hood trust (the Foggy Bot­tom Defense and Improve­ment Cor­po­ra­tion), as a mem­ber of the Foggy Bot­tom Gar­den Club, as a Friend of the West End Library and as a mem­ber of the Foggy Bot­tom His­toric Preser­va­tion Board. For many, many years Bob spear­headed the famous 26th Street annual cleanup.
